Marwan Shakarchi

CEO 

Marwan Shakarchi, Chief Executive Officer of MKS PAMP GROUP since January 1, 2025, began his tenure as CEO of MKS PAMP SA in 1983. Over the past four decades, through visionary leadership alongside Karma Liess-Shakarchi, he has transformed MKS PAMP SA into a leading integrated precious metals group. A graduate of The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Multinational Enterprises, Marwan regularly shares his expertise on the gold and precious metals market as a keynote speaker at industry-leading events, financial institutions, and forums. His insights are highly sought after by journalists and professionals alike. He is also an international consultant to the Shanghai Gold Exchange.

Loek Gelling

Group Market and Credit Risk Officer 

Group Market and Credit Risk Officer since October 2017, responsible for the set-up, implementation and execution of the Group’s credit risk management function. He graduated from Nyenrode Business University’s Master of Science in Management program in 2005, after which he completed his Post Graduate Master on Risk Management for Financial Institutions in 2016, on the topic of ‘Risk Assessments of Commodity Traders’. Prior to joining, he worked in the corporate banking industry for 10 years, with focus on the area of risk management in the commodity markets, mainly dedicated on clients in the metals and mining industry.

James Emmett

CEO

James Emmett, CEO of MKS PAMP since January 1, 2025, has over 30 years of leadership experience in financial services. He has worked across Asia-Pacific, EMEA and North America and previously held senior roles at HSBC, including Chief Executive of HSBC Bank plc and Europe, CEO of HSBC Turkey, and Global Head of HSBC's Trade and Receivables Finance business. He has also served as CEO and Managing Director of the Diem payment network in Switzerland and COO of the UK’s National Wealth Fund (previously UK Infrastructure Bank). James has been a non-executive member of the MKS PAMP Board of Directors since 2022.

Omar Liess 

Chief Commercial Officer 

Chief Commercial Officer as well as being a member of the Executive Management Committee since 2018. Omar previously worked in the Netherlands as an internal controller for the MKS PAMP GROUP and was instrumental in the repositioning of the group’s digital strategy. During his time with MKS PAMP GROUP, he also started an alternative investment initiative. Omar serves as Chairman of the board of GOLD AVENUE SA, an ecommerce platform focused on physical precious metals. Additionally, he serves on the Board of director of Pandion mine finance, a fund structure vehicle that provides financing to mining companies. He is also a board member of MKS PAMP Hong Kong. Omar graduated from the European Business School in London with a bachelor’s degree in International Business with a major in Finance.

Joseph Stefans

Head of Trading 

Head of Trading since 2019. Joe has worked in the precious metal industry for HSBC over the last 13 years, starting in operations in New York and eventually moving to London holding various dealing positions in the front office eventually overseeing EMEA Metals trading in 2016.  He has served on the LPPM management committee from 2016 to 2019 as well as the LBMA Public Affairs Committee from 2015 through till today. He received a B.A. in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross in 2006.

Jérôme Cambazard  

Chief Operating Officer 

Jérôme joined MKS PAMP in 2012 and worked as Head of Operations at MKS PAMP Dubai for 2 years before taking the position of Group Financial Controller at MKS PAMP GROUP in Amsterdam. Prior to joining MKS PAMP, Jérôme worked 5 years with Ernst & Young for financial and regulatory audit in the banking and financial industries. He holds a master’s Degree in Financial Management from Grenoble School of Management and is a Swiss Certified Public Accountant.

Jacqueline Mayor Meylan   

Head of Compliance  

Head of Compliance since 2021, and Head of Finance and Compliance since 2009. Jacqueline is responsible for anti-money laundering and supply chain due diligence as well as the implementation of responsible sourcing practices within the Group. She has led the drafting of the LBMA Responsible Gold Guidance as well as the development of the LBMA best practice due diligence toolkit. She is also a member of the Accreditation and Certification Committee of the Responsible Jewellery Council. She is as well responsible to provide leadership, operational oversight and system coordination of financial information. Prior to joining MKS PAMP, Jacqueline worked 10 years with Ernst & Young as Senior Manager for financial and regulatory audit in the banking and financial industries. She holds a master’s Degree in economics from Lausanne University and is a Swiss Certified Public Accountant.

Leah Halpren

Head of Finance

Head of Finance since 2021, Leah is responsible for operational oversight and coordination of financial information. Prior to joining MKS PAMP, Leah worked for 13 years at EY as a Senior Manager in audit services, and since 2016 as Head of Financial Statement Audit for the State of Geneva. She holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance Management and is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant.

Dominique Bruggmann

Chief Risk and Quality Officer

Dominique Bruggmann assumed the role of Chief Risk and Quality Officer at MKS PAMP SA on January 1, 2025. He brings extensive expertise in banking and commodity risk management, having previously worked with financial institutions and most recently with Ernst & Young AG, where he advised banks and commodity trading clients on trading and risk-related matters. Dominique holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of St. Gallen and completed an exchange program at the Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, Illinois. His strong analytical and leadership skills are shaped by broad international experience. He is a CFA Charterholder and is fluent in German, French, and English.

Tarek Shakarchi

Head of Strategic Opportunities

Tarek Shakarchi is Head of Strategic Opportunities at MKS PAMP where he oversees mergers and acquisitions and drives business development across the entire precious metals value chain, including primary and secondary sourcing, processing infrastructure, trading & retail, and innovative technologies. He also serves on the Board of Bullion International Group, an MKS PAMP GROUP company, as well as Seloxium, a University of Oxford spin-out backed by MKS PAMP specializing in valuable metals recovery. Tarek holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Ruben Fuentes 

Chief Information Officer

CIO of MKS PAMP since March 2025, Ruben Fuentes is a seasoned IT executive with over 20 years of experience in digital transformation and business-aligned technology strategies. Prior to joining MKS PAMP, he held senior roles at several leading global companies, including Global Head of IT Applications, Transformation & Innovation at COFCO International and Principal Architect at Telefónica UK. Ruben holds a master’s degree in physics and an MBA.

Priscilla Calmes  

Head of Human Resources & Admin

Head of Human resources since 2018. Priscilla has an in-depth experience in Human resources management gained in HR management positions in banking, food industry, higher education and international organisations. She regularly teaches HR professionals within the framework of the studies for the federal certificate specializing in personnel management. She holds a master’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Business Administration, both from Geneva University.

Phaedon Stamatopoulos

Managing Director

Phaedon is Managing Direction since 2022. He brings over 15 years of industry experience with a diverse background in operations, numerous commercial roles, and years as part of a leadership team. Phaedon holds a BA, Meng Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, and an MSc Chemical Engineering & Marketing from Imperial College London.

Mario Orsenigo

Head of Production

Mario Orsenigo is Head of Production since 2020. He joined the company in 2001 as Head of Refinery and Ecology where he led projects for MKS PAMP: installation and start up of manufacturing site of the joint venture MMTC-PAMP and MKS PAMP Hong Kong. In 2017 he obtained the Safety engineer Swiss Federal Diploma and was appointed as Head of Safety and Environment until 2020. Mario holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan.

Rajesh Khosla

Member of the Board

Member of the Board at MMTC-PAMP India from its inception in 2008 after being on the Board of MMTC Ltd, India’s largest international trading corporation. Rajesh has been associated with the Indian base and precious metals industry for the past 20 years and has pioneered various innovative schemes for domestic bullion operations. He is a regular speaker on the subject at industry forums and conferences in India.

Vikas Singh

Chief Executive Officer

Chief Executive Officer of MMTC-PAMP since 2020. Vikas has over 25 years of know-how in leading, growing and transforming businesses around a culture of innovation based on customer experience and building winning teams. Previously, he was the Managing Director of Pearson Education for India & South Asia, the world’s leading learning company and held key positions in companies such as Kimberly Clark and Airtel. Vikas believes in lifelong-learning and has attended leadership programs at Harvard Business School, INSEAD, Jim Collins Academy and across the Singtel Group. Vikas holds a degree in Business Management from FMS, Delhi.

Samit Guha

Chief Financial and Technology Officer

Samit is a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant with over 25 years of experience in leading & managing the finance function in both manufacturing & service industries. He has experience of working in leadership positions in large and reputed organisations like PWC, Philips India Ltd, Bharti Airtel Ltd, The Oberoi Group, Genesis Group and Emaar India.

Vipin Raina

Head of Marketing

Head of Marketing for MMTC-PAMP, he has been associated with the MKS PAMP GROUP since 2002 and with MMTC-PAMP since its inception. Vipin is responsible for overall marketing function for bullion and minted products, market research, new product development and customer engagement. With a strong sales and marketing experience of more than 21 years in base and precious metals, Vipin was invaluable in setting up the Company’s dealing desk in India. He has contributed significantly to the Company’s in-house developed retail distribution platform, which manages its all-India minted product distribution.

Sudarat Unakul

Senior Sales Director Thailand

Senior Sales Director of the Thailand office, Sudarat was significantly involved in the establishment of MKS PAMP (Thailand) in 1997 and has since built a strong business relationship with all major gold traders, especially on the precious metals physical trading via renowned services team. She studied Business Administration in the US.

Segar Govindasamy

Senior Sales Director Malaysia

Senior Sales Director for MKS PAMP business in Malaysia, Segar has more than 20 years of professional experience, most of it in the banking industry having held several positions with Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore, Qatar and Malaysia. Segar holds an MBA from INSEAD and earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from National University of Malaysia.

Eddie Ng

Managing Director

Having joined the company in 2009 as a bullion dealer, Eddie has since progressed through increasingly responsible roles in business development and physical trading with MKS PAMP Singapore. Eddie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore, majoring in Finance.

Frederick Siu

Senior Sales Director Hong Kong & APAC

Frederick has more than 28 years of physical trading experience, having worked in ScotiaMocatta HK and Mitsui HK as Head of precious metals sales and marketing. Frederick received a MBA (Financial Management) at University of Hull (UK) and BA (Hons) in Accounting at London Metropolitan University (UK). He is also a certified Public Accountant (CPA) from Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and Chartered Public Finance Accountant (CPFA) from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA UK).

Bernard Sin 

Regional Director, Greater China  

Regional Director of Greater China since 2020, and previously Head of Trading. Bernard joined MKS PAMP as a country representative of Singapore in 1996 and moved to Switzerland in 1997. He holds an MBA in International Business from the European University in Geneva. Prior to joining MKS PAMP, Bernard worked 6 years for Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore and Hong Kong as an FX and Bullion Dealer. Trading since 2007.

Jason Cerisola

Managing Director

Managing Director since 2018, Jason was first Head of Trading for the Australian Office, responsible for the management of the Group's trading operations in the Asian time zone. He joined the MKS PAMP Sydney office in 1998 as a Trainee Dealer and has been involved in the development of the Group's trading business in precious metals and foreign exchange ever since. Jason and his team co-ordinate the trading and other business activities with the Group’s subsidiary offices throughout Asia and India.

Ryan Boyles

CEO 

Ryan Boyles has served as Chief Executive Officer of MTB since December 2024, bringing extensive leadership experience in the precious metals industry. Prior to joining MTB, Ryan spent over 13 years at APMEX, the world’s leading precious metals retailer, where he held leadership roles in Merchandising, Business Intelligence, and Business Development. Throughout his career, Ryan has consistently driven innovation, enhanced operational efficiency, and fostered business growth. At APMEX, he implemented strategies that improved scalability, streamlined processes, and supported the company’s successful expansion into new markets and product categories.  As CEO of MTB, Ryan is focused on strengthening the company’s position in the wholesale precious metals market through customer-centric innovation, operational excellence, and strategic partnerships. Ryan holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Nicolas Cracco

Chief Executive Officer

Before joining MKS PAMP GROUP, Nicolas Cracco spent four years in external auditing for industry-leading companies at PwC, followed by a year in FP&A at Expedia, a major player in e-commerce. At GOLD AVENUE, he held various leadership roles over a span of four years, including Head of Finance, CFO, and COO, before stepping into the role of CEO. Nicolas holds a degree from HEC Lausanne and is a certified CPA (ACCA).
